Languise is a web-based document support tool that combines proprietary document processing technology with the ChatGPT engine to translate, proofread, and summarize files such as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel while preserving layout elements including tables, images, and graphs.
The project focused on designing a simple, user-friendly visual experience for a feature-rich SaaS product. Alongside website design, the work also included UI design, presentation materials, downloadable document design, and promotional graphics to build a consistent and professional brand presence across touchpoints.
Overview
As a document-focused web service, Languise required an interface and web presence that could communicate advanced functionality without overwhelming the user.
The design challenge was to make the service feel intuitive, organized, and easy to understand at a glance. Rather than emphasizing visual complexity, the project focused on clarity: simplifying structure, making functions easier to identify, and building a clean design system that supported both usability and trust.
The challenge
Languise offers multiple capabilities across different document types and business use cases. Presenting that value clearly within a web-based interface required careful simplification.
The main challenge was designing an experience that felt:
- simple enough for first-time users to understand quickly
- structured enough for users to identify key functions easily
- professional enough to support trust in a document-handling SaaS
- consistent across website pages, UI, and supporting materials
Because the service included many functions and messages to communicate, the design needed to reduce visual and cognitive friction rather than add more.
The approach
The design direction prioritized simplicity, readability, and intuitive structure.
Website pages and interface components were designed to help users quickly understand what the service does, what actions are available, and how to navigate the product with minimal confusion. Intuitive icons and clean visual grouping were used to improve scannability and feature recognition.
In parallel, a unified visual language was developed across the public-facing site and related materials, including downloadable documents, presentation assets, and PR banners, so that the brand would feel consistent in both product and promotional contexts.
Key focus areas
UI simplification
The interface was designed to make complex functionality easier to understand through clearer structure, reduced clutter, and intuitive visual cues.
Website design
Public-facing web pages were designed to explain the product clearly while maintaining a clean and professional SaaS presentation.
Visual consistency
Color theme, graphic direction, and layout style were aligned across the website, interface, and supporting materials.
Supporting design assets
Presentation materials, downloadable documents, and promotional banners were designed to match the product experience and strengthen brand consistency.
